Ronna Alcartado, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is our board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Ronna has been caring for clients in the Carson Valley since 2011 as a registered nurse working at the community hospital, and as a board-certified family nurse practitioner since 2015. She graduated from the Orvis School of Nursing at the

Ronna has been caring for clients in the Carson Valley since 2011 as a registered nurse working at the community hospital, and as a board-certified family nurse practitioner since 2015. She graduated from the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she studied both of her current specialties. Ronna began working with Mountainview Medical Associates in 2018, and continues to practice alongside them in Minden, limiting her practice to mental health only at this time.

We offer a range of services to clients 13 years and older, including mental health diagnosis, medication management, and cognitive behavioral therapy combined with a med-management visit. We also offer telepsychiatry appointments for clients who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their own home. Ronna treats a variety of mental health disorders including (but not limited to): Depression, anxiety (generalized and social anxiety, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder), personality disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and alcohol abuse.
